Tatyana is originally from North Carolina where she earned
her BA in Art History from UNC- Chapel Hill. She became interested in illustrating children's books after working for
several years in primary schools. She lived in Budapest, Hungary for a short time and her work is influenced by the artwork
and illustration of Eastern Europe.
She left Hungary
to study illustration at Central Saint Martin's College in London and the North East Wales College of Art and Design.
Her work is created using printmaking techniques, often combined with collage and watercolour. She has illustrated a number
of books for children including; Snobby Cat, An Run Mor, An Nollaig Sa Naigin, and the forthcoming, Where's
Murphy?

in Dublin and the Rotunda Gallery in Navan.
